Gloria Running Rainbow, organist 1
This picture dates back to early 1970s. I used to make pictures with more action and/or more people than now. I had a lot more time before now, when now I have to put up with this dam making-a-living-crap.
Gloria Running Rainbow is an organist of Shasheer (muscle women planet). One thing no one ever thinks of is how good of an organist a muscle woman could make. Playing a large "tracker-action" (traditional) pipe organ takes a bit of strength. The 7-feet, 300 pound gal has plenty of that.
Organs in/on Shasheer have a different kind of musical use than on Earth. On Earth organs tend to be associated with cathedrals, churches, Gothic era, and even funerals. On/in Shasheer the pipe-organ tends to hold the same station as a "rock-and-roll" or "rap" band or whatever. Bear in mind the music would strike us as totally alien.
Thus we see this mayhemish scene above around a pipe organ.
First, the organ is located in a facility that has all the niceties of a typical warehouse. Some organs are located in theater-like facilities, however.
We see folks largely standing spell-bound, as Gloria Running Rainbow plays stuff which is somewhat phobogenic; fear-generating. There are no seats, they just stand. Couple gals hold hands. Another, to far left, seems unafraid. One guy is squatting; I guess he's tired of standing. Another couple "explore" each other. They all look a little rough, even Gloria...
Hey, except... who's that standing over Gloria Running Rainbow... why, that's E. Power Biggs! Hey, how did HE get to Shasheer!? I wanna go! I wanna live where there is no petroleum and no cars, and the transportation is velomobile! Wow!
Well, howEVER he got there...
I had a picture of E. Power Biggs so I attempted drawing his likeness into the picture. His suit seems a bit out of place among all those scantily dressed folk, but I suppose a suit-like set of clothes would appear from time to time in Shasheer.
