In the 1970s I was interested in electronics and did indeed become a 2-way radio technician for a long time afterward. Anyway, interest in women and amateur radio and electronics was bound to generate one of these; I'm sure it's happened before, probably somewhere, there is one on this very Deviant Art system; a lady electronics technician.
They were rare when I was a teenager and in my 20s. I understand that now, it is much more common to find women in technical fields.
Anyway, so there she is, mounting a transformer onto the power supply of some humongous transmitter. Other electronic cacophonous collections of cams and crankshafts can be seen in the background along with her tools.
